Samsung S2 Tab: Verizon/AT&T Device Compatibility Question
I purchased a Samsung S2 Tablet under 2 year (4G Lte data-only contract) from Verizon. At the end of the 2-year term, I wish to change to a PrePaid monthly data plan, possibly at AT&T. Is my Verizon-supplied Samsung S2 Tablet compatible with AT&T's technology? An earlier poster here (2012) said that often devices from one network will not work on the other. Does anyone know if that is true in this case?

Hey @bettyhills!
Thanks for considering AT&T as your future wireless provider! I’d be happy to help make your transition a quick and easy one to get you up and running on that tablet!
To see if your device works on the AT&T network, enter your device and brand, or the IMEI number on our BYOP (Bring your own device) website. This will allow you check the compatibility before actually bringing over the device and selecting to begin service!
Since you’re wanting to place the tablet on a prepaid account, you can learn how to purchase a GoPhone SIM card to bring your tablet.
If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to reach back out to me through this post! Take care and have a wonderful weekend!

I am attempting to use a verizon Samsung Tab S2 on AT&T's network. I checked the IMEI and it is compatible. With the ATT sim inside the device it says that there is no verizon sim in the device. Internet does not work. I attempted to add an APN to see if it would work and no luck.

Checking your device eligibility is simple, let's get started @Oceangal.
In order to begin using your Samsung Galaxy device, we will first have to check its compatibility. Doing so allows us to determine if you will be able to use the device on our network.
Once the compatibility is determined, you will then need to activate a sim card that is compatible with the device and the plan that you are wanting to use.
If you need additional assistance, reach out, we can help you get set up.
