Samsung Galaxy S8+

Experiencing call clarity issues with my Samsung Galaxy S8+, whether receiving the call or making the call. People say I sound "muffled" or my voice sounds distant. I know others with the same phone and they are experiencing the same issue. Any suggestions to resolve the issue is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Community Forums! The Galaxy S8+ is a fantastic device; I hope you’re enjoying it! I’m very sorry to hear you are experiencing call quality issues. I would love to assist you with this!

 

The first step would be restarting the phone. You can do this by holding the Power Key for a few seconds, and tapping Restart. This should provide your device with a fresh connection to our towers.

 

If the issue persists, try setting up Wi-Fi calling if possible. You can do this in Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi Calling.  If you have poor service, it should switch over to Wi-Fi for making and receiving calls. This will help narrow the issue down.
