Samsung Galaxy S5 Lollipop Update Installation Question

I checked for the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Samsung Galaxy S5, and my phone was going to start the update. I then recieved a message that my phone didn't have enough storage for the update to download. I then cleared some stuff off my phone and now have 4GB available. Even after doing that, I still have a notification in my status bar that there isn't enough device storage available. How can I fix this/do I have to wait 24 hours to check for an update again?

@GLIMMERMAN76 I have 4 Gigabytes of space available on the actual device...I will have to try the time change thing
