Samsung Galaxy A14 shows no networks when wifi is on

I have a Samsung Galaxy A14 and as of about a month ago it's just automatically stopped picking up any Wi-Fi networks when I had Wi-Fi turned on and then a few days later after that just stop working with the hotspot and nobody can pick me up in the house as far as we turn them on or I can't locate any open networks when I turn my Wi-Fi on even though everything in the house is connected our personal home network and if I'm not mistaken I think this all started after the last update or somewhere around that time it's just been crazy ever since then any help would be appreciated

Hello @kdubb40, we understand how important is to stay connected.

We'll be happy to assist you with getting your phone connected to Wi-Fi.

To begin, have you attempted any troubleshooting, such as resetting your device's network settings? If not, you can try that by going to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset network settings.

After that, try to connect to the Wi-Fi network again.. If it does, we'll need additional context to better assist you:

  • Are you receiving an error message when trying to connect to the Wi-Fi? Providing an error will help us understand why it is not connecting.

You can also try using this troubleshoot and resolve tool for WiFi-related concerns. Simply log into your account and choose your specific device to get started.

Please reach back out to us and let us know if you still need assistance. We look forward to getting this resolved for you.

Thank you,

I have tried that, also soft reset on the phone, as well as toggling airplAne mode etc

To restore the wifi to your A14 5G you will need to wipe the partition on your phone. To do this, power off the device, then hold down the power button and volume up button until you see the Samsung logo then release both buttons. This will open the system recovery menu, use the volume down button to highlight the wipe partition cache then press the power button. After the partition cache is wiped use the volume button to highlight reboot system. Your A14 will restart with full wifi signal and capability. This is a known issue for several Samsung models that as an Android developer I have come across more than once.
