Samsung Fold Z3 not receiving or making calls
I bought my Samsung Fold Z3 from the Samsung store unlocked. Since buying it I have had to switch my mobile network to only connect to 3G/2G because it wasn't allowing me to connect to 5G. I went to the ATT store and the manager told me I should've bought the phone from the AT&T store. I pay for the AT&T service not the phone so where I get my phone from is irrelevant. Today on 03/02/2022 my phone completely stopped working where I couldn't make or receive calls. My software is up to date and i have restarted my phone and checked its not in airplane mode. This is extremely predatory behavior on behalf of ATT. I am seeing that anyone who bought a phone from the Samsung store is having the same issue. I am a first responder and cannot afford to not be able to make and receive calls. If this issue is not fixed Im going to have to switch over to T-Mobile's First Responder Magenta plan. My partner currently has the T-Mobile plan and has not had this issue and he also bought his phone from the Samsung store. I chose Firstnet because the price was competitive but as of recently I am losing faith in the company.
