S22 Ultra unlocked -wifi calling?
I'm trading my att 512gb Note 20 Ultra in for the S22 Ultra. This time around I find the unlocked version in Samsungs exclusive red and 1TB of storage more appealing than the att offerings. Will I lose my wifi calling and other features if I go with the unlocked version? Thank you for any info anyone may have.
Thank you

So you think I should be fine buying the s22+ unlocked from samsung and have wifi calling/HD calls/5g on at&t network? I've seen different answers but you seem like you know what you're talking about lol.

you should. If it does not work samsung will have to make it right as they state the unlocked version works on ALL us carriers.

Not if it's the correct model number! The USA unlocked version is fully capable. As are pixel and iPhone. Please refer to the list of capabilities of unlocked phones.
@OmlorML
Non carrier, unlocked phones that will work on AT&T now that 3-g is going away
The model number of the S22 is not yet included, but will have all the same capabilites as the S21 series as long as it's the U1 version for USA

No wifi calling or HD calling on my unlocked s22 + I got it today. I use Firstnet which is through ATT and same programming, and same phones. Tmobile, verizon, sprint all accommodate unlocked phones. ATT doesn't, and they dont care about people on its towers. They aren't even Verizon call quality so I am kinda shocked that they still do this to their customers. This is a bad practice and seems like they use old tech/programing practices. If you want an unlocked phones use a different service maybe if the stock plumets a bit they will learn, probably not though.
