Replacement Samsung Galaxy watch 4 - Cannot activate / cannot get new eSim.

We got a replacement watch and need to activate/replace the current "active" watch on our account. I backed up the old watch and reset it, removing the Mobile Account from it as well (we have to return the old watch). Upon connecting the new watch to the phone, I cannot activate it on the account (it asks for an eSim barcode/number, which we don't have as the old watch was already active). Following all the searches, it simply says this:

Here’s how to get your eSIM

  • Go to yourmyAT&T account overview.
  • Scroll toMy devices.
  • ChooseManagefor the device that needs a new eSIM.
  • Scroll toOptions & settingsand selectGet a new eSIM.
  • Follow the prompts to complete your eSIM setup.

Manage my device/options only gives me these options:

-Suspend Wireless Service

-Manage Number Sync

-Unlock Device

-Change Phone Number

-Transfer a number to AT&T

-Cancel this line

I cannot "Get a new eSim".  If I go to manage number sync [logged in on att.com using the phone that is attached to the watch] it loops around asking me to log in, and returns me to my account home. Rinse repeat.

How can I generate a new eSim for that active number and pair it with my new watch?

You need any help to replace the watch on existing line.

I did end up going into the store...they had to update my device list with the new IMEI so they could assign a new eSIM. It took about 20 minutes after waiting room time, problem solved.

Thanks.
