Order Status still says IN PROGRESS after 5 days.

     I ordered my Samsung smart watch on 12/2 at 7:59 PM I was told my phone would be delivered on 12/6 at the latest and yet here we are on 12/6 and my order status still says in progress.... Why is this a constant problem? This is very frustrating because the money is taken immediately and my credit is run immediately but you wait until forever to ship my equipment. I am leaving for a trip on Tuesday 12/10 and would love to have my merchandise as promised... I am very close to just cancelling this order and saying screw it because my money has been taken and yet no package. How come companies like Amazon and Asurion can have your package to you in a matter of a couple days and yet every time I order something from AT&T I have either just cancelled the order or been extremely upset that it took so long for the package to simply ship.
