Number not stored on the sim with Samsung Galaxy S20 FE

I get messages like "Your carrier stores your line number on their central system not the sim". Could this be stopping me from using RCS? 
My phone number isn't present under the system settings.

take it to the nearest AT&T store and ask them to refresh the line or .. swap the SIM?

also is this a unlocked FE or a ATT branded one?

Currently at this time, this device isn't compatible with RCS.

 

To confirm, are you currently experiencing concerns with sending/receiving messages and calls with your device using  default apps?
