Note 10 plus not updating

I have an atat note 10 plus, and it hasn't updated since September 1rst of 2019. Meanwhile I looked on atat's website, and it says that Note 10 and 10 plus have Android 10 update, while mine does not. I even factory reset the phone, and it is still stuck on September 1rst of 2019 being the last update it had. Why?

Hi @TohjW

Thank you for reaching out to us. We'll be happy to assist.

Here's something else we can try: go to Settings > Apps (or Applications) and select Show All. Find Google Services Framework and click the Clear Data button. Then click the Force Stop button. Restart your phone then see if that works. If not, please let us know and we can proceed from there.

Still the same "Your device is currently up to date"

When the stores reopen, I'm going to have to request a different device because I believe there is something wrong with this devices baseband version. Every other baseband version has newer updates except Baseband version
N975USQU1ASI2 and I don't know why.

Hi @TohjW,

Thank you for clarifying for us.

One option would be to have Samsung flash the update for you, which can be done at one of their stores. Due to the troubling times now it may be difficult, but it's an option. If you still want to change devices, you can still visit one of our stores when you are able to. Otherwise, you can keep checking your device to see if you receive the update.

Let us know if we can assist in any other way!

how can all the subscribers together raise this issue up to ATT top management so ATT can DO something to FIX this huge flaw?

i have same problems for years with my old ATT S7 Edge and now same with my S10 .. never able to get updates ... even after many calls to ATT and getting ATT to place my IMEI on their list to get the update

I guess just give it a like and share. And don't believe nothing about "Priority update list" or whatever they called it when you called them, that's a joke.

I have the same status. Today i go to at&t store to ask about my phone. The staff there got an note 10 plus with android 10, he said the update would push out another time but he doesn't know when and he can't do anything for me or doesn't know who can help me. Disappointed

I have the same issue!  they have replaced my phone once, but the new device has a security update from December 2019.

I was told on my original to go to a Samsung walk-in center... I drove 3hrs one way to do this to be told that the device was up to date!  it was in the end of June 2010, the device was still on Android 9 with UI1 and a security update from June 2019!

now they want me to do the same thing!  I'm like no, Fix the (Edited per community guidelines) phone!  this needs to change!  we have purchased top of the line phones and we should be getting top of the line service!

after over 15yrs with ATT ready to take my 4 device account to someone else!

There may be a problem with the version that you have that is not allowing the update. You may need to take it to a Samsung desk and they can flash the update for you.

I have the same issue, I had to send my galaxy note to Samsung and have them flash the android 10 onto my phone. I truly hate how att blames samsung for this issue when it is att responsibility to push the updates out. Gonna be the last time I own a samsung.

i finally got the update pushed to my S10 from ATT..What it took is for me to contact my local TV station to complaint about this from ATT...The TV station contacted ATT, an ATT VP from customer support then contacted me, told me he raised an issue with ATT support to put my phone on the list to get the update push, and viola, within a day, I got all the updates pushed to me. So there is DEFINITELY something WRONG with ATT backend system to put the phones on the update list. I just don't understand WHY ATT CAN'T and WON'T FIX THEIR SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very Frustrating with ATT

You have to contact ATT

Sr. Manager

Office of the President

Once this office opens a ticket to ATT support, then something will happen to get the updates to work

There is something something wrong with AT&Ts system preventing the updates from being pushed out. Even when I had the updates pushed to my phone, I still had to call to have other updates pushed...
