No data access after upgrade to 4.4.4

I finally let me phone upgrade to 4.4.4 yesterday.  Since then none of my apps to include the browser can access the internet over the cellular modem.  The only exception is that I can get to the "att.yahoo.com" page when I go into the browser but can't browse to any other pages. Turn Wifi on and it works fine. I've enabled and disabled data (that usually does the trick) and even rebooted the phone several times. No joy.

All I did was let the phone update and reboot. No data.  Only thing I've done after that is disabled (sure wish I could remove) all the newly installed crapware (Mail, Live, Keeper, Knox, Uber, etc.)

Phone: Samsung Galaxy S4 (I337)

Android: 4.4.4

Build: KTU84P.I337UCUFNJ4

Help! My phone is now just that... a phone.. nothing more.

Thank you.  I spent most of the day (reboots, resets, etc.) Tuesday trying to resolve the issue.  In frustration I put down the phone and walked away from it.  I came back to it Wednesday and it was working.  I have no idea what I actually did to solve the problem.

I will say this.. the quality of the AT&T/Samsung build of 4.4.4 seems to be low. My phone is significantly slower and very often completely unresponsive since the upgrade.  The S4 is my company phone and my personal phone is a dev version of the Moto X (2013). The 4.4.4 build on that is solid and runs like a champ.  I have significantly more apps on my Moto X so that isn't the problem.  I think you guys really need to look at the quality of your build and push out a new one.

I'll throw out one other thing.. The Moto build of 4.4.4 is pretty close to stock android.. No AT&T and minimal manufacturer forced crapware.  Having spent most of my life in software development I'd bet a paycheck that's why Moto's build is so much better than yours.   Just saying.. take it for what's it worth.
