Network coverage on my new phone?

Hello, I just recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F (Europe Version). Currently, I am using this phone in Asia. I don't know too much about how coverage works but I have a question about the usability of my phone in Central Illinois, USA. Looking at 4G specifically, my model can operate with the frequencies : 4G LTE 800/850/900/1800/1900/2100/2600. I searched up and found out the US uses LTE 700/800/1700/1900/2100. My question is, will I be able to have 4G LTE in Illinois? If not, would I just get 3G/2G speeds? I see that only the 800/1900/2100 frequencies match, but I am not too sure which frequencies AT&T uses and specifically where they use each frequency. Could you help me understand how all this works? Thank you for your time.

Hi @jt1027

The exact bands specifications for any specific areas are not available, but looking at those specs, it does look like you'll have a 50/50 change the LTE will work, and you're right, the worst case scenario, it'll fall back to 3G while you're in those areas.

Thank you,

Dmitriy
