Allow us to provide the answers about Firmware Updates @theunf!
Please know that in order to receive a software update through AT&T, the device must be AT&T-branded and active on the cellular network, within the U.S..
If you currently reside overseas, you won't be able to receive the firmware download for your cellphone.
It is best to contact the device-brand manufacture for additional assistance with applying the update towards your mobile phone.
We hope this helps, and thanks for reaching out to us!

Hey, I'm back in US and that's not working at all.
Checked in an AT&T store that's no lock in this phone IMEI, called carrier support designated to highend phone for hours, line dropped 2 times, web agent reconnected the call both times, got transfered to Samsung and still dont understand why I';m stucked in May 1st 2020 update as latest when https://www.att.com/device-support/article/wireless/KM1369613/Samsung/SamsungF900U says that I should be getting the July 15th's Android 11 update.

You are missing 12 updates. It may take time to get all twelve of them. Each one Builds on the previous so you can't get the current one until you get the one from June 2020... And every update since then.
If being back on AT&T service in the United States has not triggered the update yet, call and ask for advanced tech support. They will need your IMEI. They can try to help push out the updates to your phone. You must remain on AT&T service long enough to get all of the updates.
