Need to unlock Note 9
I have recently purchased an UNLOCKED note from thecelllhoneshoppe.com and once I turned the phone on, it was locked to att. I went through the process of trying to unlock it but I haven't received an email to confirm the request or an email with a code. Need help unlocking

If you purchase the phone as unlocked and it's not, you should be contacting the website that sold you a phone that is not as advertised. It is highly unlikely if you have any problem using the unlock portal that AT&T will help you or can help you. They will direct you to contact the seller.

How long would it take for Att to send the confirmation email?

You should get the confirmation email within minutes of submitting the unlock but occasionally we see complaints about the email not showing up for a day or two after the confirmation link has expired. Unlock requests using a gmail address have the most issues. Check your spam and deleted folders.
