My phone not registered on a network


I just activated my at&t simcard on at&t Samsung galaxy however when trying t make a call or text messages it gives me error of my phone not registered on a network. I switched the phone off and try again but didn't work then I resetted the network settings but didn't work too finally I tried to pick the network manually but didn't find this option but the automatic one only. What can I do?

First, please provide us with the exact make and model of your device so that we're able to confirm it's on our list of approved devices. This list consist of devices that are still currently working after our 3G sunset occurred. Also, be sure to let us know if this is a device purchased through AT&T or a third party.
