My new Samsung Galaxy S5 won't connect to home wifi!
I have been having troubles connecting to my home modem at home with my new S5 that I recieved yesterday. When I try to connect using the correct password, it just says "saved, secured" but it doesn't connect. The connection works perfectly fine with my laptop, tablet and old htc but not in my Samsung. I have tried "forget" then re enter the password and it does the same. The "Smart network switch" is off and the "Keep wifi on during sleep" is on "always". I would like to know how to fix this problem as soon as possible, thank you!

Hi @ZaoNao!
I’m so sorry to hear your new phone isn’t connecting to your home Wi-Fi network.
The first thing we need to know, is if the phone is able to successfully connect to other secure Wi-Fi networks other than your home. Who is your internet service provider? Have you tried restarting your router?
Thanks,
Charise

Does it show 4G LTE in the notification bar? Or wifi 'fan'?
What at happens if you turn off mobile data and try to access internet service? Does it try to load and fail? If it tries to load and fails, your wifi may be insufficient.

@Chriswg90
Try 'forgetting' the network, then set up your home wifi again.
If this doesn't work, you may need to factory reset the phone. Please backup as FR erases all content.
