Mobile security secure vpn huge battery drain note 9

The recent update seems to have finally fixed some things and the secure vpn service is working and blocking sites etc.... can the devs work out the battery drain though? The  Note 9 8/512gb is taking a huge hit it seems since the mobile security update...
