If your previous phone is an AT&T phone, yes it had a SIM card. AT&T has always used SIM cards.  (all LTE phones use sim cards)

What is your previous phone?

There will be instructions online on how to locate the SIM card on your current phone and to place it in your new phone

Since its 4 days later, I'm assuming you figured out how to move sim card?
