Missing blutooth tethering on Samsung S6 Active

Yo, I have a Samsung S6 32gb phone with Android Nougat 7.0 installed.

I seem to be missing the ability to tether with other devices via Bluetooth. Any reason for why it is like that?

Thanks.

Hello @Doomsday_Orange,

These days, using your Bluetooth can certainly be useful depending on what accessory or situation you are using the service for. I personally use my wireless headphones with my phone all the time!

The first step I recommend is clearing the cache from your Bluetooth. You can do this through Settings > Device > Applications > Application manager > More > Show system apps > Bluetooth Share. Once you select this, choose Storage > Clear cache and Clear data (this will clear out all of your current connections). Go ahead and force stop the app once this is done, and reboot the phone!

If this does not work, I recommend our Troubleshoot and Resolve tool. This feature goes over any additional settings which we haven’t checked yet.

Please let us know if this works! Have a great day!
