MCK code for Samsung S20 Ultra
Hello At&t I brought a Samsung Ultra S20 couple of months ago and I have requested for unlocking it. At&t keeps sending me codes and asks me to wait for 24 hours for each one to try them, but they never unlock my phone. When I spoke to a manager Andrew Dunkin, he is least bothered and says At&t is not responsible, but when I reached out to Samsung they say you guys are responsible for it.
I have spent $1200 on a phone on at&t website and you don't let me unlock it even after paying off in full. This is horrible treatment at&t.
I see many people reporting about this. Please fix it!!!

You should have gotten 2 unlock emails ONE for you to confirm the request and then another with the unlock code.

I got approval right away and At&t has sent 3 unlock codes, but none of them work. When I spoke to At&t manager, he said at&t is not responsible for the phone and I should reach out to Samsung, but I paid all the money to At&t to get that phone. When I reached out to Samsung, they want me to deal with At&t. I am checking the forums here and it looks like the MCK code issue is not resolved yet.

I am another victim of this issue, I bought Galaxy S20 Ultra phone from AT&T, around a month back I paid off the remaining balance, now 3 days back I request for unlock code, ATT send me unlock code which is "0" do you think "0" is correct unlock code, still i believed and try this code, after 3-4 attempts, now phone is looking for MCK code, so I called Samsung Customer Care, he provided me MCK code, but also he said whatever unlock code provided by your service provider is incorrect, in order to unlock your phone you need to get the correct code, since then I am trying to call ATT Customer Care and they are not responding, if they do respond but they don't know how to get the correct Unlock code, looks like I have wasted $1400.
If I could have given this money to homeless people they can buy a food so that they can survive easily for a month.

If you guys are not going to fix this problem. Please take your devices back and refund the money. This is bad!!

This is the device which I brought just 4 months ago and paid $1400 in full. If you guys are not fixing the issue, please take your device back and refund the money!

First, this is a user to user forum. Some AT&T employees will chime in on their own time, but this is not AT&T support. It's called "Community Forums" for a reason.
Second, you actually just stated the problem in your chat.
You only have a limited number of tries to unlock the phone. 10, I think. It should tell you how many tries you have as you use them up. Once you've tried that last time, you phone is permanently locked and there is nothing anyone can do. Not you, not AT&T and not Samsung.
That's it... done deal.
Might as well just keep it on AT&T, or sell it to another AT&T customer.
Out of curiosity, why buy an AT&T branded phone if you don't plan to use it on AT&T?
