Marshmallow update for the Galaxy S6 edge
Can someone please tell me when AT&T will release Marshmallow for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge? It seems like all other major carriers have already done so. I know AT&T is always the last to release updates, but I just need to have an idea when it might do so.
Thabnk you.

well since you can only get an unlocked nexus yeah its unlocked LOL....
As for the M10 I thinks its a smart idea on ATT's part. Verizon did the same thing with the M7. They released months after to make sure the phone would sell. The M8 and M9 had there short comings. And I loved my M8..

Well, the at&t folks must be extremely incompetent if they need that long to figure out how to implement this update. I don't think it's about taking their time for the best results. The reason why it's frustrating is the fact that people who buy smartphones costing the upward of $650 to $850 want to get the most out their phones. Right now Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile customers are getting more out of their galaxy S6 edge than I am just because I'm with at&t. They are getting a better experience with their phone just because my carrier sucks. That's why I'm frustrated.

I will agree MM brings some good stuff. Now I will also say if you read the verizon boards they released it half baked. There are all sorts of complaints on the VZW boards about update problems. I as you want this update ASAP but we both know ATT works at a snails pace.

Is there any way I can bypass at&t and update my phone? Will I be able to update my S6 edge directly through Samsung SideSync if it's carrier-unlocked?
I need an alternative solution here people since at&t won't help.

It appears that HTC will be offering an unlocked HTC 10 that is compatible with the AT&T network if you prefer that phone over the Nexus.

I'm fully aware of that, but, the unlocked version is going to lose some functionality when/if activated on ATT's network. It'll lose things like HDvoice, etc.

There's a possibility that a Best Buy Samsung Experience center would be able to use Keys to flash the update, but that's no guarantee.

Yes if you phone is Unlocked it will work with T-Mobile Sim. Must be paid for and had it about 60 days before AT&T will unlock. There are sites you can pay to get it Unlocked also.
