Marshmallow update for the Galaxy S6 edge

Can someone please tell me when AT&T will release Marshmallow for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge? It seems like all other major carriers have already done so. I know AT&T is always the last to release updates, but I just need to have an idea when it might do so.

Thabnk you.

Are you saying it can be updated now if it's unlocked even if it's a AT&T phone?

I call a foul on his story.  If he has MM I want to see a screen shot of the about phone page.

Tech Times has an article about how AT&T is probably the only carrier on earth that hasn't release MM for the S6 and S6 edge. Check it out below:

Now I'm f***ing mad. It seems like AT&T is just holding out to sell new phones with MM. This is just ridiculous how greedy this company can be. All other carriers have released MM to the satisfaction of their customers except for at&t.

I posted the same thing a while back and got blasted for it.  They just tell you that AT&T is committed to customer satisfaction and they're testing the update to ensure there are no problems.

That's bull! This is just a generic response AT&T gives to its representatives to tell customers. AT&T is more interested in making money than satisfying customers. I mean, all of them are just after your money, but at least some of them ( Sprint, Verizon & T-Mobile) give their customers a little satisfaction every now and then. AT&T is always the last to release updates. Google released this update last year, not last last month. You can't tell me that at&t's experts/ ingeneers are that incompetent that it will take them a year to figure this thing out. They're just f***ing greedy. They don't give a f**k about their customers.

considering samsung got the 6.0.1 update mid january.  Remember google has released 5 to 9 patches since 6.0 was released to squash bugs.  Does that excuse ATT no.  But with tmo releasing mm for the s6 and edge last monday and releasing mm for the edge+ and note 5 today it does put presure on ATT.

I seriously doubt that the chronic delay in updates is due to an AT&T conspiracy to sell new phones.  Can you imagine the customers that would flock to them if they were able to say that selecting AT&T as your carrier would mean that you would always be in the forefront of receiving updates?  Do you really think they want to make customers angry and dissatisfied?  Look at all the money they spend on advertising, just to get new customers.  No, personally, and it's just my opinion, I think they're just not up to getting the job done in a satisfactory and prompt manner.

I dislike the delay in updates just as much as the next person; however, my reasons may differ.  I am not concerned about having the latest and greatest operating system, but I am concerned about security issues not being patched promptly.  Therefore, my next phone will not be a Samsung and it will not be a carrier branded phone.

This gal's goin' with a Nexus... Probably unlocked... 😉 ... Since ATT's being stinkers and not directly selling the new HTC 10.
