lag time on texts
There is a very long lag time between text messages from my husband's phone to mine. Today he sent me a text around 1 pm this afternoon. I didn't receive it until 8:19 pm. Why is that? Is there anything I can do about it?

Thanks for reaching out to us. When did you start experiencing this problem? Had you downloaded any files or apps around the same time?
Try clearing the cache for the Messaging app and tell us if this helps.

I have noticed that if my phone ram usage is high that I will get lag in everything from text messages to notifications of email. I have to restart my phone every couple of days or the ram usage gets high enough to start causing lag. This may not be what caused your issue, but it wouldn't hurt to check into.
