Is there a workable way to recover deleted photos on Note 4?

My little girl just accidently a bunch of photos on my Note 4. The photos are very important for me in next presentation. I checked the Google Drive,  the photos were not in there too. How could I be possible to restore the deleted photos. Thanks

Unlikely...
If the photos were on the phone when it was last backed up, you would recover by restoring the phone.
However, anything added AFTER that backup would be removed.

I use google drive for documents, but DropBox for photos. DropBox automatically uploads my photos from my phone as soon as It connects to home wifi. DropBox provides 5 GBS of free storage.

If they're not backed up somewhere, they're pretty much gone once deleted without using heroic and expensive data recovery services.

You can try some of the suggestions in this article: http://recode.net/2015/01/22/how-to-recover-deleted-photos-from-your-memory-card-or-smartphone/

I've not tried any of them, but they sound plausable.

In the future, do turn on automatic photo backup to THE CLOUD... There are a lot of free or free if you have other services unlimited backup options, it doesn't make sense to not use at least one of them.

Were they on the phone's internal memory or an sd card? Sandisk has a program called rescue pro that I've had some success with for memory cards. But if the photos have been overwritten, they're gone forever.

Hi dbiapett,

Though it's been a long time with no workable methods provided, my advice might be helpful for future people.

Technically, photos can be recovered only if backed up to computer or cloud. Apart from that, any case might be not recoverable.

Don't be frustracted. You might have heard of Android Data Recovery software, but it can be effective only when the deleted data haven't been overwritten. If you are still in trouble, feel free to check this tutorial: How to Recover Deleted Photos from Note4?

Sincerely hope it helps.

Actually , all deleted data can be recovered on phone, this is no doubt , but if these deleted data has been erased from phone , maybe you don't have any chance to recover them.

So long as the deleted photos haven't been covered by new generated data, you still have chance to restore the deleted photos from Android phone with or without backup file. But you can't do this without the help of data recovery tool. Hence, act quickly to find one to help you before the deleted contents being overwritten completely. Good luck!

Here is the tutorial that I once used to recover deleted photos from my Galaxy Note 4. Not the best one, but useful.
