If I buy S10 unlocked from Samsung, can i use S7 SIM card?

I have been with AT&T for years and have a valid account (though my contract is now open).

My current S7 Edge was purchased through AT&T.

I want to purchase an unlocked S10+ from Samsung.

Can I order it not locked to AT&T,  and plug in the SIM card that is in my S7 into the S10+ and still continue to use the S10 with my AT&T account?

Or is the SIM card tied to the S7 (IMEA #?) somehow?  Will I lose AT&T calling or network features?

Hello @myswtest,

We're happy to answer your questions! If you would like to continue using your current SIM card for your new device, you may do so. So that you do not run into any issues with your services, be sure to let us know of your new IMEI number so that we may update it on our end.

Congratulations on the decision to upgrade your device!
