I want to unlock...but...

Hi.
I had contacted you for the unlock code. 2000.2.18.
And you are supposed to contact me in two days.
And afterwards contacted me that it might be a bit late.
But a week has passed, but there is no contact yet.
And I checked for spam.
I was very disappointed.
Please contact me as soon as possible.
I will keep waiting.

did you request through the unlock portal? this is a customer forum not at&t so no one will contact from at&t.

if done through the portal what message are you getting?

They answered: 'Your unlock request was denied because the manufacturer doesn''t have an unlock code or the device is already unlocked.'
And when I put my SIM on my smartphone, the screen prompts me to enter the sim network unlock pin.
What should I do?

take it to who you have service with to update the network settings

They may not actually have the unlock code.. The fold was a niche product but they still should be able to unlock it but if ATT tried they followed the letter of the unlock agreement.

@manking If you hadnt used the phone on at&t,the IMEI is not registered, and as far as the unlock portal, does not exist. you also must wsit 14 days, till you cannot return it.
