how do you retrieve deleted voicemail from a samsung s10?

My voice mail was automatically deleted and I'd like to get them back. How do I get them back on a galaxy s10?

Hi there @missyelua

We're more than happy to provide you the steps with Recovering your Deleted Voicemail!

In order to access your Voicemail/Visual Voicemail, it's important that you've the VM feature is already setup and active before proceeding:

  1. On the Galaxy s10 Keypad Screen Tab, press and hold down the 1 key on your cellphone's dial pad to connect to the voicemail system and listen to the optional steps provided.
  2. Don’t hang up! Once you end the call or exit the voicemail system, deleted messages are gone forever
  3. From the Message Playback menu, press 1.
  4. Press 9 to Check Erased Messages.
  5. Press 9 to Save a message to your voicemail box.
  6. Press 7 to delete it again.

You can access the highlighted articles above for more information and details.

Please know that if your old voicemail has been automatically or manually been deleted from your VM system, it cannot be salvaged and recovered

We hope this information is helpful.

It did not bring up the messages that were automatically deleted from December 6th... Are they archived somewhere?

We appreciate your reply @missyelua

If you have checked your android device/personal voicemail system for the December 6th recording, and it's not saved/archived, the recording may be lost and is unavailable to recover that message.

Please know that VM recordings/Messages aren't stored in the AT&T database.

You may use our Troubleshoot & Resolve/Galaxy s10 website and select Voicemail underneath Troubleshooting Topics if you still experience problems with your cellphone.

We thank you for reaching out to the community!
