Have not received Marshmallow update

Each time I check it tells me my phone is up-to-date.

I know how important it is to stay up with the latest and greatest software!

 

What kind of phone do you have? The update has not been released for all devices yet, as some of them are still being tested for bugs/issues.

 

You can find most of the update eligible phone models by checking out our main discussion for Marshmallow here.

 

Alternatively, just let us know, and we can check for you!

 

If you have an eligible device, but it is still not updating, I would recommend going to a Samsung Experience at a BestBuy near you for assistance in flashing it onto your phone!

I also am not able to receive the Marshmallow update. I am using the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. It tells me my current software is up to date.

Now there's a canned reply instead of troubleshooting the actual issue? I've checked the AT&T website and the update was made available for my phone in May. And I'm not letting Best Buy touch my phone.

Hi@ vol4lsu,

 In many cases, when you get this message the update might exist. If not, try att.com, select phones, select support, select wireless, select get software updates. Marshmellow is listed for your device, this might get it pushed in.

I made the change on my AT&T profile yesterday to reflect that I have a Samsung S6. I checked for the update today and it still tells me I'm up-to-date. Does the ATT.com need a day or two for the change to occur?

The updates are scheduled to roll out depending on your IMEI number. Changing your profile should not make any difference..

 

Its been 3 days since it was released. 

 

Do you have an AT&T sim card in your phone and confirm that it is not rooted.
