Galaxy watch 4 help

I'm trying to number sync my new watch to my number but it keeps syncing to my husband's phone. Our plans are under one user ID and I know I have to create my own to be able to get the watch to sync to my number but when I go to create a new user ID it says my number is already under an account and won't let me create a new user ID. Don't know what else to do

You need to create an access ID for your phone line and use that access ID to sync the watch. I suspect you are using your husband's access ID and therefore it is sinking to his line.

So I was able to create my own user ID and added my phone number to my profile but now when I select on the watch to get a number sync code, it shows on my phone I need to add my phone number even though I already have. Then when I try to add the phone number again it says phone number has already been added. It doesn't give me the option at all to add the code from the watch onto my phone

Did you factory reset the watch?

I suspect the system is sluggish, and hasn't recognized your number yet.  Try again.

Some time has passed since your last post, so we're curious to know if you were able to get your number set up with the watch. As mentioned, resetting the watch and then seeing if you are able to connect is a good start.

 

If that doesn't work, there are alternatives we can try.
