Galaxy S7/S7 Edge Android 7 Nougat Update?

Has anyone on ATT here in the US received the new OTA update to Nougat (Android 7) on their Galaxy S7/Edge phones yet?  Reports are out that today Samsung started rolling out the update.  If anyone from ATT sees this, can you confirm if and when the Nougat update will roll out to our phones?  Thanks!

No way your getting Nougat.    Release dates for non carrier versions are not accurate either.

Europe gets the updates first...I've never known that not to be the case. AT&T is always slow. By the time they update the Galaxy S7s to Nougat, it'll be time for the S8s. I've gotten to the point I never pay attention to major updates, because I'm always disappointed. I'm still mad we didn't get Samsung Cloud.

Never, ever will I use private cloud services.  Not carrier, and not Samsung.  Google provides more than adequate cloud storage, sync and backup and is transferable to non Samsung devices.

They are rolling out the OTA update to nougat for S7 and S7 edge unlocked devices in the US. Devices locked to carriers like Verizon, AT&T, etc have to get approved by the carrier first.

Verizon and att have custom software from Samsung.

Once Samsung releases Nougat for US phones (they have NOT done so) then the carrier tests it, tweeks it and sends it back to Samsung for coding. Rinse, repeat, until the software works well.  Samsung phones should not expect Nougat before the GS8 is released, but will not roll out for months, estimate late summer is pretty good.

Repeat....Samsung has not released a Nougat update for US phones.  The beta program proved the software was not ready.  Verizon pulled out after a couple of weeks.

If you plan on holding your breath till Nougat comes out, you will not survive.  Just relax and it will come when it's ready.

the unlocked phones getting nougat now are exynos based processor phones like the 930/935F.  The us unlocked version of the s7 series 930u/935u are not getting it yet.  samsung has not done a good job of updating the unlocke 930u/935u since release.

There hasn't been any Snapdragon S7s, unlocked or otherwise, with the 7.0 update.

6.0 rolled out in the summer of 2016. I would set that expecation for 7.0 as well.

people on the beta program have nougat on snapdragon s7's.  I have it on a tmobile s7 that I am using for testing.  ATT chose not to do the beta so that puts them behind the other carriers.
