Galaxy S5 won't connect to AT&T data network
I updated my Galaxy S5 last night and ever since I can not connect to the AT&T data network. I can only access the internet over wifi. Is anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Same connectivity problem as so many with a Verizon locked Samsung S5 phone that would not work on my ATT internet service network. Spent an hour in a local ATT store where the associate was unable solve the problem. Left the store very frustrated. Looked up outside and saw an. " In and Out Smart Repair Store" next door. Walked in and explained problem to the technician and within 3 mins he diagnosed the problem. He stated, " go back next door and ask the ATT employee to put in the ATT ACN and it should work fine. It worked. Returned to the "In & Out Smart Repair Store" and had to insist that he accept a very good lunch donation. Agony free now.

dude thank you, i'm using a at&t samsung s5 (sm-g900a) as a temporary phone the the data wasn't working. after changing the apn it worked fine! Thank you!

2022 I was testing my S5 active phone signal ability by putting my sim into the sim's original S3mini. Att said nogo & txt 611 to get newer phone.. Put sim back into S5 =phone again but now no internet. Followed access point settings from page 1 reply above and internet works again. Cut & paste important lines for accuracy. My original greyed out access point settings are different at the top 2 lines: (ATT Nextgen.. vs ATT phone). Tried to make new duplicate of original but Replacement original also greyed out & not working. Back to these old ones for now. Thanks Droidmaster
