Galaxy S5 fingerscanner

What do I do to get my fingerscanner app to work? Iv everything I could look up on the line like forcestop, clearing cache, and nothing... I ran a Factory Reset! and still didnt work.

 

Would this be covered under my warrenty?

 

Please HELP

Thanks for reaching out. We apologize for the negative experience. We are happy to help.  I seems like you have already completed a majority of the troubleshooting steps. After completing the factory reset did you test before install any new applications? If not we advise you to try testing without any third party apps installed.  

To answer your warranty question, as long as the device is on one year of your purchase date, has no physical or liquid damage or modified software then it would still be covered under warranty. We hope this helped and that we answered your questions. Feel free to reach back out. Thanks. ^Jake
