Galaxy S4- Calls arent working! :(

I have an S4. The past few days my calls arent working. Phone calls come in and the phone rings, but when I answer its just silent. On both ends. People hang up and call back, I try to answer and neither of us can hear anything. I also cant hear my voicemails. Has this happened to anyone and what can I do to fix my phone? 😞

The usual troubleshooting

1) power off phone. Pull out battery. Count to 10. Battery in, power on. Better?

2) can you hear ANY sounds at all from it? Videos? Music?

3) try using headphones. Can you hear it now? If so, try gently inserting/removing headphone jack several times to free up the stuck switch in the jack. Is it fixed?

After all that, pretty much it's time to have it looked at. If it's less than a year old, it should still be under warranty and AT&T will exchange/fix for free unless it's water damaged.

I did a soft reset.

I called my phone from my work phone and when I answer on my galaxy, I hear
nothing. The phone I used to call my galaxy just heard loud static and
almost like wind and blasting. No words were able to be heard. I pushed the
number key a few times, and I could hear the keytone through all the
scrabble noise, but no words. Everything else on my phone is working fine.
(sounds for games, music, ect)

I traded this phone with a friend im not sure exactly how old it is,
probably more than a year, so im assuming im out of luck with any warranty
coverages.

i googled this problem and saw alot of different things, someone said the
mic may be broken or shot and needs to be replaced.
