Galaxy Note 10 Plus Software Update

Hello all,

I got a Galaxy Note 10 Plus over a year ago. A couple months ago I called AT&T because i was not recieving software updates to Android 10.

They have sent me two replacement devices with the same exact issue. I have called AT&T support about eight times on this issue and they say they keep pushing the update but I am still on Android 9.

At this point I'm writing this because I'm at a loss as what steps to take next.

I would appreciate any thoughts or ideas from the group..

I know. It is weird. You can look in your settings to see what Android version you are on..

Hi @neil7398,

Thanks for reaching out! Allow us to assist.

The first recommendation would be to visit a Samsung Experience store, as they would be able to flash the update to your phone. But due to the ongoing pandemic, these stores are likely closed for the time being. We'd like to know more about your device not updating. If you've been checking periodically, it should eventually give you the option to update, given you have enough space. It's also uncommon to happen in two different replacement phones as well.

We look forward to your response!

I did visit a Samsung experience and they told me to talk to At&t. This really has been a frustrating experience. Noone has been able to resolve this. Really disappointing to have an expensive phone and not be able to update it to current version.

If it helps I have the same issue with my Galaxy S9. Still have Android 9 and One UI Version 1.0. Hope you get this figured out because I've done everything you have minus getting a replacement phone (AT&T hasn't given me that option yet) and going to a Samsung Experience store as there are none in my state.

Any updates, I've been going through the same issue... waiting until the stores open up again at this point to go and have them flash it.

AT&T has sent me a phone, I sent it back because it was on the same software and wouldn't update either. I think the system is just screwed. They keep telling me my phone is up to date and I should be happy.. I'm on Android 9 and UI1.5 how is this up to date?!?!

So frustrating!

I've experienced the same issue on the last 2 phones I have had. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and Galaxy S10+. I never once received an OTA update from AT&T. I've been a loyal customer since they were Cingular wireless, and am planning on leaving them for TMobile.
