Hello, jmurphy115!
Thanks for posting. When you post on the forums, you should see a checkbox below the text field that says "Let me know when someone replies." If you check the box, you'll receive a notification anytime someone replies to your topic. You can also subscribe to a particular thread. See the image below for clarification.
Was there anything else we could help you with here on the forums? We have quite a few resourceful community members who would be happy to assist if you post more details.
If the issue is account specific, you can also click here to send us a private message with your contact information, the best time to reach you, and a brief summary of the issue. You can expect a reply within two business days, so keep an eye on the little blue envelope icon in the top right corner of your screen.
In the meantime, feel free to message me with any other questions or concerns.

a reply to another already posted message)? and maybe the check mark was
there, but I just didn?t see it?., but then I did see the check mark for the
second message I posted which was a brand new message.. .so thanks..
My problem?. Not sure if you can help or not.. is I had turned my phone to
Airplane Mode when I was on the plane, and then left it in Airplane Mode,
when I was in Canada.. then started driving in Canada and noticed the
Airplane Mode reset itself, and was now turned off.. so I was getting
charged data and text .. so I immediately turned it back to Airplane Mode
and then it came back on again? so I called ATT and the technician told me
that because I was roaming, it must have found the a tower and turned the
Airplane Mode to OFF? not sure if this technician was correct or not
correct.. it for sure could be another software.. but I would think the FAA
would not allow any software to switch the ?Airplane Mode? button ?? if this
is possible, then ATT would be in very big trouble..
Best Regards and Thanks/Mit freundlichem Gru?

Yeah, that the support tech said doesn't make any sense. The point of Airplane Mode is that the cell radio is off, so its not looking for towers in the first place.
You may have something else going on. A 3rd party app can be causing an issue, and not intentionally. You haven't stated what phone you are talking about. Depending on the device, you can see if it has a "safe mode" (no 3rd party apps will load) and see if the problem persists. Or backup you personal data and try a factory reset.

and looking for cell towers.. don't think an original ATT app would make the
Airplane Mode turn off.. the question is what would the FAA say about an app
being allowed to turn off Airplane Mode?? I turned my Airplane Mode on when
I was on the plane, and it stayed on, but then when I turned my Airplane
Mode to the on position when I was driving some app turned it on.. I think
this is wrong for ATT to allow an app to go in and change Airplane Mode. I
think the FAA would not allow this, so that is why I kept in on Airplane
Mode, thinking I will not get charged for cell or text or data

You're missing my point. It may be a 3rd party app that is unintentionally turning the cell radio back on, such as some kind of bug. And you are making a big leap in logic saying it must be a 3rd party app. It can be a bug in the OS. But without the troubleshooting I suggested, we can't even begin to determine the cause.
