Does the Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F support AT&T LTE?

Does the Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F support AT&T LTE? If I buy a pre-paid SIM card from AT & T it will work well on my phone?

Hello @clariana

The phone in questions is an international model and it should work with AT&T as long as it's unlocked. However it can get tricky with LTE coverage (2G and 3G should be fine).

AT&T uses 700MHz as it's primary LTE frequency, but SM-G900F doesn't support it.

AT&T also uses 1700,1900 and 2300MHz frequencies as its supplemental coverage in some markets, to provide additional LTE bandwidth. SM-G900F only supports 1900MHz out of those and it's virtually impossible to know where it's being used and if this phone will be able to utilize without testing it physically.

AT&T GoPhone does provide LTE access, I'd say you will have a better experience with one of AT&T models, which can definitely be used as a Go Phone.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

Dmitriy
