Brand new device Unlocked Samsung S22 doesn't have Wifi Calling Option.

No wifi calling on my unlocked s22 + I got it today. I use Firstnet which is through ATT and same programming.  Tmobile, verizon, sprint all accommodate unlocked phones. ATT doesn't care about customer wants and needs, and they dont care about people on its towers. They aren't even Verizon call quality so I am kinda shocked that they still do this to their customers.  This is a bad practice and seems like they use old tech/programing practices only care about the bottom dollar.   If you want an unlocked phones use a different service maybe if the stock plumets a bit they will learn, probably not though.

I just got mine and was shocked to find same issue. Also on FirstNet.

Go to Settings - connections, right under wifi and see wifi calling is there for you to turn on. I have an unlock S22 Ultra and it allows me to turn it on no problem! Good luck!

The OP may have had a different experience, but this was mine: Bought S22 Ultra unlocked as upgrade to Note 20. Called FirstNet to change devices. Set up S22 w/o SIM card installed since I was using it in Note 20 to talk on phone. So my S22 did not boot with a SIM card. That may have been why not only did I have no WiFi calling option, but was unable to make or receive a call after service switched to the S22. I ditched FirstNet for T-Mobile, booted with SIM card installed, and have had no issues. Well, except contrary to T-Mobile claims, there is no 5G signal here 😖

I swapped the SIM with my Wife's AT&T one, wifi calling showed up. Switch back to Firstnet, no wifi calling again. I'll probably leave Firstnet as soon as my previous device gets paid off.

I'm currently having the same issue with S23 Ultra unlocked on FirstNet.  When I speak to everyone at ATT, they seem completely unaware of it being a problem.

AT&T's system doesn't even allow their reps to enter the imei of the unlocked phones on Firstnet accounts. They want you to only use the phones they sell. I left them earlier this year as soon as I paid off my old device. I switched to Boost Infinite(not same as boost mobile). A lot cheaper and use AT&T network as primary and T-Mobile as a backup.
