AT&T S6 Active SM-G890A OTA Build G890AUCS3BPCG Problems
Wanted to post some details about the issue we are seeing post my update to OTA Build G890AUCS3BPCG released in april on my AT&T S6 Active SM-G890A. Ever since this update I have seen substantially reduced battery life and wifi continually stops functioning. This is not just my S6 Active but also all 6 other folks in my company that have migrated to this build. While new wifi disconnects are just really annoying (turn off wifi and back on to correct @ home and @ the office) the real issue is the battery life with this update. I used to be able to charge my phone overnight and have it last under normal use until around noon the following day, awesome. Now after this update it will not even last until 2pm the same day... not useable. To troubleshoot I have already fully reset the phone and only reinstalled google apps for basic functionality. No significant difference in battery performance. Still have lost 1 days worth of battery life.... In addition, one of the other S6 users at the office, our help desk manager has done the same with his phone with identical results... very frustrating....
Other users how have you fixed this?
AT&T when will there be a fix for this issue or even better when will 6.0.1 be released for the S6 Active and does that address these build problems?

Have you cleared the cache on the phones? factory reset does not always clear the cache... My s6 active was fine before that update and is fine after I sideloaded MM on my s6 active. Now battery life is way better after MM as doze does work as google said it would.

cache also cleared per suggestion on xda-dev a week ago. same results on att ota provided rom.
Also keep in mind we can replicate this across 6 co workers devices not just my S6a.
glad to hear MM is working better.

interesting as both the kids s6's were having shorter life but I though it was a teen thing as snap chat instagram and the lot are used a ton. Now they are getting better battery life now tho.
