AT&T did firmware update about 2 weeks ago - dropped calls and battery life issues

I got a AT&T firmware update about 2 weeks ago on my S4 and I noticed my calls started to drop out. I just figured it was the other person's phone, until a couple days later my battery is now going dead after 3-4 hours after being fully charged. Any resolutions yet?

Hi leilei10,

Was is an OS update or some other misc. update? You can try resetting your phone by removing the battery, in some cases getting a new SIM card from an AT&T store can help too.

Thanks,

Hello @leilei10!

We do apologize for this frustration. Since this issue began, have you previously attempted to reset your app preferences? You can do this by going to Menu>Settings>More>Application Manager>Menu>Reset App Preferences.

If this is not successful, we'd recommend running your device into safe mode: http://bit.ly/1yHOKMG

We would recommend safe mode to ensure that no third party apps are negatively affecting your phone after your latest update.

Please let us know if these suggestions help.

Thank you! ^Kay
