ANOTHER Warranty Scam!-Resolved-thank you Gary At&t rep
First I will start by saying AT&T customer service have been very pleasant to deal with, but unfortunately, much like the many other posts I have read on this forum, my 5 month old Galaxy Note 9 went completely dead. Black Screen of Death. You could definitely tell it was on but not functioning in the least, black screen, no button control, nothing. I contacted warranty service and set up the RMA for the replacement. I received my new Note 9 and sent back the bad one. Today I received my old one back saying it was not covered under warranty due to "Damage to screen-Broken or Cracked" . This phone has lived in a Lifeproof case since day one. Never dropped, no cracks, not a single nick on it anywhere. How and why does AT&T continue to do this to its customer base?! I contacted warranty service again and the rep was unable to forward me the alleged photos of the cracked screen, stating the firewall on her end would not allow it. She would get with her IT department to let the images through and would call me back in 15 min. That was 4 hours ago. One quick google search on this topic will tell anyone that this is
a major issue and happens repeatedly.
