I have a Galaxy Z Fold 3. It's Jan 2nd 2022and I haven't gotten the update to Android 12 One UI 4.0 either. When will AT&T release it?
AT&T doesn’t release it the phone manufacturer does

Updates are both manufacturer and carrier specific. It depends if AT&T's version of that exact phone will get the update or not. If it does, then it will be pushed through the network eventually. That is assuming the phone is AT&T's and not another carrier's or a manufacturer unlocked version.
Thank you. I know it is both manufacture and carrier. So many people been telling me it's the manufacturer but I used to work for Samsung here in Dallas and it is also the carrier who gives the OK after the manufacturer gives out a stable build. Only unlocked unbranded phone receive updates OTA as soon as the manufacturer releases a new update.
Just more misinformation from their own AT&T employees who either don't know what their talking about or just make of stuff they have no idea what their talking about.
It's almost February and my s10 received android 12 but my fold 3 hasnt
Just to be sure is that an AT&T phone?
Carriers only push through updates for their own phones. Phones may be unlocked to use with another carrier, but the authorized update is still through the original carrier because of proprietary firmware as each carrier. My phone is one where all other carrier's version got an Android update, but mine was the odd one out so I never get that update (unless I go through the hassle of (Edited per community guidelines) phone and forcing an update from another source that it may not be fully compliant with).
Yes they are both at&t

At&t made early mistakes and has pushed bad updates in the past.
My Moto remains, better good than fast. There really isn't anything earth shattering in 12 for note 10+
How can we improve?
