Additional Samsung phones being updated to 5.1.1 Lollipop?
According to this article:
http://www.vcpost.com/articles/90107/20150909/t-update-samsung-galaxy-s5-active-s4-note-3-android.htm
AT&T will be updating additional Samsung smartphones to 5.1.1 Lollipop. Those phones include the Galaxy S5 Active, S5, S4 Active, S4, and Note 3.
Can anyone confirm? I checked for updates on my Note 3, but it says my phone is up to date.

Hi there! @Pink Jazz thanks for posting your question.
At this time, we do not have a release date for 5.1.1 on the phones you mentioned. Once released, they will be available over the air via Wi-Fi as long as they are connected to the AT&T network.
Thanks!

So explain to me why I/we are still paying for a $600+ For this Fancy Galaxy! S! Active! 5! Waterproof! Invincible! Cutting Egde! phone, on Flexpay, and were told this was the New Best Thing and not only are people getting this phone for FREE now because it's "old", but by the time we get the Lollipop update, which everyone else seems to have already (including regular Galazy5 users) it will be old itself and why will we care?
You folks pushed these Samsung S Active 5s phones like crazy at your stores, in fact you'd think you were giving bonuses away if you sold them. Our family ordered 3 other kinds of phones and waited 2 weeks for them to come on only to be told they "weren't being shipped anymore" and we almost had no choice but to take the Actice S's We thought we got a deal, only to have got lemons that have been worked on to death when they should have been replaced. As soon as the 14 day "return" time was up we were told "tough. Live with it" I see that seems to be the common answer here. We still have a year to go on these payments we got roped into. Meanwhile my sister and mom just got these phones, for free, when they joined Verison. And theyr data plan is cheaper. That was the "pitch" -- "but you're paying less per month with your Flex pay".... No I'm not. They got free phones, more GIGs and better coverage. They don't have "lost connection" every 3 minutes, their WiFi isn't resetting in the middle of things constantly as I see many others have been posting about for over a year.
Most upsetting is the casual tone that it seems we're always told to just "deal with it" when we have complaints. "Reset your phone". "don't use it so much" "Go find a Wi-Fi Hot spot". "Disable some more apps"
I came here to get some solutions and I see tons of others with my same issues, posting them for months and months and months and nothing being solved. That's my answer. I figured. It was like this 9 years ago, too with things. Nothing changes

This is a user to user support forum, other than the occasional actual AT&T employee who is also here. If you want to actually interact with AT&T, the best way is to call in.
The phone(s) mentioned in this tread will get an update to 5.1.1, we (users) just don't know when - until it's released we only know it's in progress...
