unlock prepaid

Trying to unlock my phone. Recently switched to a prepaid plan, but I have been on att for years, and this device for nearly five years. The unlock portal is telling me I’m not eligible to unlock because my service hasn’t been active for sixty days. How can I fix this so I can unlock my phone?  Help!

Your prepaid account counts separately from your previous postpaid service; in order to be eligible for a device unlock, you'll need to have 6 months of prepaid service.
