unable to receive or make calls

My daughter's line suddenly wasn't able to receive/make calls without making a payment which is due Nov 28th. After making the payment today, 11/9/22, it says our next payment is due November 28th. (Edited per community guidelines)?? There's no calling ATT to get a live customer support person on a prepaid plan. It's extortion basically.

It sounds like your daughter might be  a prepaid pay per use plan?  

Pay per use plans require that you have a sufficient balance to make calls or use text messaging, and you're also required to refill the account before the expiration date in order to maintain service.

Refills under $10 expire in 15 days. 

Refills of $10 to 24  expire in 30 days.

A refill of 25 to $99 expires in 90 days. A $100 refill expires in 365 days. 

If you allow a refill to expire, not only do you lose service but you potentially lose any balance left in your account. 

Your daughter should log into her account and see what type of plan she has, how much are balances, and what her expiration date is
