UNABLE TO DO INITIAL SETUP OF VOICEMAIL BOX
I am unable to set up/ create the voicemail box. I have an unlocked Consumer Cellular Motorola E6. The AT&T Store successfully installed and activated my AT&T Prepaid SIM card. I am on the $50/month plan which does include Voicemail, and all permissions have been granted to the app. The AT&T store manager AND three AT&T Prepaid Customer Service agents have not been able to help and I have spent over two hours holding for regular AT&T cust. service which never answered. When I dial either "1" or activate Visual Voicemail on the app, either way I get this message: "That voicemail box has not been set up, goodbye" and it disconnects. Why can I not create a VoiceMail box? Is the E6 not a compatible device for voicemail?
