Unable to connect to 5G in an area where 5G is available for AT&T.
Just activated my phone yesterday, and it will not connect to 5G - only 4G LTE. I know that 5G is available as my previous service was with Boost (using the black AT&T SIM), and the same phone would connect. I ran across a couple instances where others were having the same issue here and it was stated it may be a provisioning issue. Just tried calling 611, and after 5 minutes on the phone I was terrified to have them touch my account. Phone is a motorola edge+ 2022, model XT2201-3. Would anyone here from AT&T CS be able to assist? Thanks.

It's likely not 5g compatible on ATT.
Service capabilities of unlocked devices https://www.att.com/ecms/dam/att/consumer/help/pdf/Service-Capabilities-Unlocked-Devices-ATT-Network.pdf
Most of the Motorola phones aren't getting 5g
