Switching from daily to $40 prepaid

My plan expired yesterday. I can't renew the $45 plan until Friday.  When I called the 611 number to check on the $2 daily plan, at the end of the spiel, it said I couldn't switch my plan again if I signed up for the daily.  Would I not be able to get a monthly plan again?

We'd love to help with this. Here's information for you on switching your AT&T prepaid plan. You can change your prepaid plan at any time. When you do so, you lose any balance on your account.
