Roaming in India

Hi,

I have at&t prepaid and I had to travel to India on emergency and I reached India already.

Just got to know that at&t prepaid doesn’t have roaming in India after reaching here and adding 35$ add on for roaming. Can you please let me know what my options are to have the number active while I am here in India ?
