Regarding to Prepaid card

I bought a prepaid card from your company, and I want to transfer my old number to the SIM card. I follow the instruction to activate the card. However, when I in the Account sign up page I got the error. I can't sign in the account and can't reset the password. I went to 2 stores and talked with live chat customer service. They are all can't help me to solve the problem. So I order a new prepaid card and just get a new number. May I know will you deduct money for my first order SIM card? As I check my bank account the payment still pending.

We can help you with your prepaid account, @Philia.

Every dollar counts and we want to make sure you get what you paid for the first refill card. AT&T PREPAID refill cards are non-refundable. However, you can apply the balance of the first card to you new line. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your AT&T PREPAID account.
  2. Select Make a Payment.
  3. Scroll to AT&T PREPAID Refill Card and enter the PREPAID PIN from the back of the card.
  4. Select Continue. You'll see a payment confirmation.

You'll want to apply it accordingly because funds expire as follows:

  • $0.01 - $9.99 expires in 15 days
  • $10 - $24.99 expires in 30 days
  • $25 - $99.99 expires in 90 days
  • $100 and greater expires in 365 days

Please let us know if you have other questions, or concerns. Thank you for joining AT&T!

That is poor customer service if the "customer service" representatives at the store aren't able to help a customer and an individual has to come to a forum to get help! I ran into a problem that I took to an AT&T store and they couldn't help me.  What does that tell you about AT&T training their representative to meet customer satisfaction? It means they don't care about customer satisfaction nor do they care if customer representatives look like fools who don't know their job!  That is a shame. We have to spend our extra time trying to resolve a problem with their products. What happened to good customer service? Where is the "time is important to us" that is on the outgoing message when you call AT&T for help? One unhappy customer.
