Questions about $25/month (8 GB data) ATT promo plan

Hi,

I am planning to purchase the ATT 8 GB ($25 per month) promo plan from: https://www.att.com/prepaid/plans.html. I have a few questions around it:

1) Is the 8 GB data per month or for the entire 12 months?

2) I read that I will need to prepay $300 for 12 months to use this plan. What will happen after 1 year? Will the plan continue to be $25 per month?

3) Can this plan be used with my own unlocked iphone 6s plus and Samsung S8 phones?

4) When will be charged for $300, at the time of ordering the sim card or at the time of activation?

5) Do I have unlimited talk, text and 8 GB data when I am in Canada too with this plan? Will I be charged anything extra?

Thanks,

Tushar

Hello @tushar2416,

We can definitely answer those questions for you. Your plan will renew every 30 days for a total of 12 renewal periods, so the 8GB of high-speed data is renewed every month along with your plan. After you make the advance payment of $300, your service is available for a total of 360 days. If you'd like to take advantage of this promotion again after the 360 days has passed, you'll be required to make another $300 advance payment. You can absolutely Bring your own phone to AT&T PREPAID by following the steps at the link provided. The $300 advance payment will be due at checkout online. This plan does include unlimited talk and text within the U.S., Mexico & Canada. It also includes data usage within & between the U.S., Mexico & Canada. Let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.
